The following post is my own personal comments and opinions .
The below post is about Chinese civilization and Western civilization .
The Chinese civilization used to be the most advanced civilization , and perhaps the only superpower , but the western civilization over taken the Chinese civilization .
The Chinese civilization was advanced in the past because of trade and interaction with other civilization combined with a open , free and diverse Chinese society .
But during some part of Chinese history , the Chinese civilization wary of rebellion , isolate trade and interaction with other civilization so as to keep out foreign influence such as religion , immigrant , culture , etc from influencing Chinese society which in turn impede the advancement of Chinese civilization .
If Chinese civilization had continue free trade and interaction with other civilization , the free trade and interaction would have promote industrial , economic and social development of Chinese civilization , create employment and wealth , poverty alleviation and national revenues increase .
If Chinese civilization had continue free trade and interaction with other civilization , Chinese civilization would have balance the level of advancement between civilization , and learn and refine western technology , knowledge and information to strengthen the Chinese civilization .
The Chinese civilization is based on agrarian economy which is overtaken by western industrial economy which in turn is more conducive to scientific and technological advancement , and economic and social development .
The Chinese civilization used to be a innovative civilization which invented paper , compass , signal rocket , etc but the Chinese civilization did not maximize Chinese innovation for national and people interest .
The Chinese civilization invented the chariot soldier which become the modern day tanks and mobile war , but the Chinese civilization subsequently downgraded to foot soldier and then again upgraded to horse soldier for mobile war which was refined by the northern barbarian for invasion of Eura-Asia .
During the Three Kingdom Period , Prime Minister Zhuge Liang invented self propelled mechanical cow-horse based on simple harmonic science for logistic transportation .
The western civilization through trade and interaction with Chinese civilization , imported these invention to maximize their national and people interest such as for maritime exploration for resources and setup colonies .

In the modern days , the telecommunication , mass media and internet , etc accelerated the spread and interaction of knowledge and information .
During the Zhou Dynasty , the central government allocated and distributed the country into hundred of dukedom to decentralize and delegate administrative authority to the locality so as to rule the country effectively according to local situation .
But the decentralization and delegation of administrative authority to the dukedom led to autonomy , self-rule and political instability which in turn eroded the political unity and effective governance of central government .
The ineffective but free governance of central government combined with the need for survival and expansion of dukedom encourage motivation and initiative for research and development of new knowledge and information such as governmental and military knowledge which led to hundred schools of thought such as the Art of War , Confucianism , Legalism , etc .
After Qin Dynasty was established , the central government demarcated and implemented provincial system to establish a administrative and official hierarchy in the country so as to maintain political unity and stability , and to rule the country effectively and efficiently .
The Chinese civilization used to be a intelligent civilization which has researched and developed many knowledge and information such as strategy , astronomy , mathematics , science , etc .
The western civilization through trade and interaction with Chinese civilization , imported Chinese information and knowledge such as military and governmental information and knowledge to strengthen their nation and people ; and to bolster their research and development of knowledge and information .
The western civilization through trade and interaction with Chinese civilization , imported signal rocketry from Chinese civilization to become the German V2 rocket in world war 2 and subsequently for space conquest .

The western civilization has a open mind to new research and development in knowledge and information such as astronomy for space knowledge and navigation , and science and mathematics for engineering , and new research and development in knowledge and information are credited and honored .
The Chinese civilization wary of rebellion , discourage new research and development in knowledge and information such as those which do not conform Chinese civilization but are essentially the diversity , interactivity , creativity of the Chinese civilization .
The Chinese civilization believed in the mandate of Heaven . Yes , the Sagely King in ancient China do have the mandate of Heaven and they abdicated to virtuous talent . But the subsequent dynasty achieve ruling power by rebellion and they are overthrown by another rebellion , thus created a cycle of rebellion .
The Chinese civilization has an excess of human resources for production , and even for military conquest , thus there is no motivation and initiative to improve industrial technology to increase production efficiency and use numerical superiority to supplement military strategy .
Whereas the western civilization has a shortage of manpower and often only has a small standing army , thus the western civilization has more motivation and initiative to improve industrial technology to increase production efficiency , and military technology and weapon as force multiplier in combat .
The Chinese civilization restrict the freedom of research and development of knowledge and information ; and restrict the spread and popularization of knowledge and information to open the mind and wisdom of Chinese civilization , thus impede the advancement of Chinese civilization .
The Chinese civilization education placed for emphasis on ancient classic , literature , administrative knowledge and information , etc . and the Western civilization balanced and diversified the emphasis of education into science , mathematics , etc .
The Chinese civilization educated population is another social class in addition to peasantry , worker , bureaucratic , capitalist , royal , gentry class in Chinese society while the Western civilization was better in popularizing education , improving the accessibility of education and encouraging the common population to be educated to open the mind and wisdom of Western civilization .
The Chinese civilization transferred their skills , knowledge and information by accepting disciples and the disciples inherit the ‘ secret ’ manual of their master but the Western civilization transferred their knowledge and information by printing textbooks for circulation in the society and startup schools to recruits students .
The Chinese civilization wary of rebellion , integrated Confucianism into political and social system , and setup a civil examination system to indoctrinate the Chinese civilization with Confucianism for civil obedience , and honored and credited civil achievement more than military achievement .
Whether Confucianism has brought more harm or good to the Chinese civilization is debatable .

The orthodox and original faith of the Chinese civilization is Taoism which are scientific knowledge and information such as the relationship , and cyclical creation and destruction of five elements but the Chinese civilization used the scientific knowledge and information for superstition .
The Western civilization researched and developed science theory such as ‘ law of nature such as cyclical nature and trend of nature ’; ‘ law of conservation such as of mass and energy ’ ; ‘ law of motion such as the law of cyclical , alternating , balance , equilibrium , equal and opposite of action and reaction ’ ; ‘ law of fuzzy logic ’ ; ‘ Atomic physics such as the positive proton and negative electron which is used to explain the planetary system in the universe ’ etc which coincide with Taoism .
In Taoism , there is the yin and yang ; both yin and yang are cyclical , alternating , balance , equilibrium , equal and opposite of each other ; in the yang , there is yang in the yin , there is yin in the yang ; the beginning of yin is the end of yang and the beginning of yang is the end of yin ; the conservation of yin and yang is constant and absolute in the universe ; when yang increase , yin decrease , when yin increase , yang decrease ; the interaction , creativity and destruction between yin and yang led to change in the universal ; tai ji created yin and yang created four dimension created into five elements created eight diagram ; etc .
Thus , Taoism acknowledged the existence of four dimension and the eight diagram is a complicated record of knowledge and information which have diverse , interactive , creative combination to explain the law of science .
Like the God of War Guan Yu who was honored and credited for his righteousness , integrity and military achievement , the Chinese civilization honored and credited the scientific contribution and achievement of Taoism Grand Master by worshipping him , but use Taoism knowledge and information for superstition and martial arts , and did not further research and develop new Taoist knowledge and information .
The Chinese civilization wary of rebellion , imported Buddhism from India and integrated Buddhism into political and social system , and indoctrinate the Chinese civilization with Buddhism for civil obedience .
The welfare and status accorded to the Buddhism by the government to popularize Buddhism encouraged a large population of monkshood which became a economic burden to the country by eating up economic resources available for economic development such as for investment , consumption and trade which in turn will create employment and wealth , and poverty alleviation and national revenues increase ..
A increment of monkshood population also decreased the human and talent resources available for economic and military development .
Subsequently , Buddhism was removed from the political system and one time prosecuted by the government .
Subsequent Buddhist leaders implemented economic self-sufficiency by agriculture production .
The Chinese civilization look to the past such as their glorious history ; ancient classics ; ancient sage ; etc but the Western civilization look to the future to create their glorious history ; research and develop new classic ; create new saint ; etc .
The western civilization is more flexible and they refine the best and most convenient system from all civilization such as the alphabet , Latin , etc . which increase the convenience to spread and understand information and knowledge by the western civilization which in turn pave the way for English to become international language .
After the western civilization led the Chinese civilization in science and technology , the western civilization set the standard and rule of economic and industrial development such as the computer language , and pave the way for the ideas of patent and intellectual rights to strengthen the leadership of the western civilization in science and technology .
The Chinese civilization exported the humanism to western civilization which evolved to become the human rights to criticize China , and Chinese civilization exported secret societies to western civilization which become the Mafia .
After the western civilization imported governmental information and knowledge from Chinese civilization , the western civilization refined and developed democracy which is conducive to diversity , creativity , interaction , spread , transfer , research and development of knowledge and information .
Whether the Chinese language should be replaced with English language so as to accelerate China to learn and refine the western knowledge and information for strengthening of China , is debatable .
Time is a essential ingredient for a language to unify different ethnic and dialect group for national unity .
If China abandoned Chinese language , the China people will have to learn a new unfamiliar , and foreign language which is tailor made for the western civilization and not designed for Chinese civilization , and the foundation of national unity will be threatened .
If China abandoned Chinese language in favor of English language , then Chinese civilization will have to follow the standard and rules set by western civilization , not to mention surpassing western civilization .
Retaining the Chinese language , China will maintain his status as a orthodox Chinese country .
Thus , China should maintain Chinese language as the first national language in publicity and education , and allow the Chinese people to select a second international language such as English , Japanese , etc in their education as economic skills and to learn foreign knowledge and information .
The rejuvenation and reunification of China will be achieved .
China will be strong , free and united .
Taiwan will not pursue Taiwan independence and will accept reunification with China .
